Our entire body of economic theory, starting from Malthus and Keynes, is rooted in the concept of scarcity... that there's not enough to go around so some must have more and some must have less - a win/lose game plan that translates to the oxymoronic "value of scarcity" that conceals, wastes and outright destroys abundance to maintain the scarcity that keeps prices, profits and/or control high by the 'owners' (Blackstone, etc.).

Of course this was the prevailing awareness of most of history and clearly outpictured in all the wars of the 20th Century.  It's the selfish view of those who want to control populations by making merchandise of them if not cannon fodder.

Conversely, an economics of abundance is the enlightened Quantum Age View of abundant suppressed technology as could now provide virtually unlimited clean energy, knowledge power, nutritious food, pure water water and holistic health for everyone... when we all agree to serve that higher purpose of life on Earth. 

The problem is that the most powerful win/lose special interests in the world have a vested interest in keeping common sense sense uncommon (scarce) regarding the potential for the Abundant Life for all 'US' as United Sovereigns of Earth. 

Since ownership and control is 90% of the law, those who have power through ownership and control have a value system - Corporate Law - whereby "The interests of shareholders comes before the public wherever profits are at stake".

This Supreme Court precedence was set by the "Red Lion" decision in "Henry Ford versus the shareholders" when they sued him for the profits he was going to pass on to the customer due to the production line he developed for Model T's. 

Today this win/lose scarcity-based profits-before-people gameplan warrants accelerated concentration of wealth in approximately 1-2 percent of the population while the rest of us work more for less.

Prosperity for Wall Street and

Unfortunately, absolute power corrupts absolutely with outright greed consuming many of the power elite whose love of power has eclipsed the power of love with a scarcity of moral principle.

Or as that 'Great Soul' (Mahatma) Gandhi was known to say, "Commerce without morality is a sin."

So the value of scarcity translates to values of control and domination by the few at the expense of the many.  That's when self-serving special interests of the few over-rules the public good. That's also when devolution in civilization denigrates our collective conscious evolutionary ascent.

The result today is extreme polarization of power and profits for a very few at the expense of the many... as this following video well-documents:

The current paradigm shift of power is moving civilization away from outer domination to the inner sense of innocence that abhors the disruption from corruption in our social. political and economic institutions which are paid off with all the perks of profit, power and pleasure (for the few), a perverse form of worth-ship that will not end well if we don't turn it around.

Valuation of the currency of conscience for the Next Global Economy will prove the principle of conscientious common sense, i.e., that which we value with our intention, attention and sacred virtues is how we naturally culture "Net reality" (social conscience) in our ubiquitous global social networks.

By centering and connecting the OuterNet with the InnerNet that represents five core Constitutional freedoms, the valuation of conscience currency sustains the meaning, value and purpose of governing processes "of, by and for the people"... upgraded to represent ALL people with the future of the Internet - Web 3.0.

Freedom can be messy and global transformation out of the current mess must sooner of later confront the passionate "BS" (Belief Systems) which divide with nationalistic fervor or religious zeal rather than unite to bring down the "walls in the mind" (BS) that forge our fetters. 

There's no one more enslaved than those who believe they are free but whose minds are closed to the ultimate meaning of "survival" as the survival of ultimate meaning, value and purpose.  That may sound like a riddle but the greatest mysteries of God-in-man (for transforming/raising man unto God-Love), are veiled in seemingly self-contradictory paradox.  

To be in the world but not of the world is the test that's best in this dense/dark octave of incarnation (schoolroom if you will) where "the light shineth in the darkness but the darkness comprehendeth it not".   Indeed the most difficult thing in the world is to remain non-attached to worldly things - the perks that 'pay-off' (bribe) spherical/spiritual consciousness with the lock-step, linear walls in the mind (letter of the law), that killeth the spirit of the law.

The only thing we will take with us -- past this life -- is that which we learn in this life.  And without owning your own learning now - transcending the stinking thinking of paradigm paralysis - we take with us old momentums of thought and feeling.

In other words, until we understand and forgive the pain done to us, we are condemned to repeat it.  Breaking the cycles of painful personal and planetary discord, dis-ease, and dysfunction is the paradigm shift that all upward-mobile souls pursue, sooner or later.
