The concept of the I AM RACE as cultural creatives -- or lightworkers as 'lightbearers' or 'lighthouses' -- has been around for a hundred years with the Teachings of the Ascended Masters: to quote from that Wikipedia link:

Students of Ascended Master Teachings organizations (also known as "Ascended Master Activities") believe that the Presence of Life - God - individualizes as the "I AM" and incarnates throughout the created universe. They believe that their Teachings have been given to humanity by the Ascended Masters. These are believed to be individuals who have lived in physical bodies, acquired the Wisdom and Mastery needed to become Immortal and Free of the cycles of "re-embodiment" and karma, and have attained their "Ascension". They consider the Ascension to be the complete permanent union of the raised and purified outer self with the "I AM" Presence - that True Identity that is the unique Individualization of Almighty God for each person. This knowledge is believed to have previously been taught for millions of years only within "Ascended Master Retreats" and "Mystery Schools". Bailey, and began to have more detailed public release in the 1930s by the Ascended Masters  through Guy Ballard in the I AM Activity. The term Ascended Master was first introduced in 1934 by Guy Ballard with the publication of Unveiled Mysteries, a book which he said was dictated to him by the Ascended Master St. Germain. Other Ascended Master Teachings are contained in The Bridge to Freedom (1951),  Mark Prophet and Elizabeth Clare Prophet's The Summit Lighthouse (1958) (reorganized as the Church Universal and Triumphant in 1975),  The Temple of The Presence (1995), The Hearts Center (2005), the I AM University  (2004), and various other organizations such as the White Eagle Lodge (1936) and the Aquarian Christine Church Universal, Inc. (2006).

Those who have studied these Ascended Master Teachings as a progressive revelation whole are not surprised by the accelerated evolutionary ascent of global humanity at this time.

The hosts of heaven are increasingly
 stepping through the thinning veil.

Many lightworkers realize that Earth is a classroom, a platform for the evolution of souls that have incarnated from throughout universe. Some souls graduate and move on, while others graduate but volunteer as Ascended Masters to inspire, guide or otherwise 'overshadow' (enlighten) conscious evolution with the fundamental principles governing the ascension process.
 
You would think that modern day progressive revelation would be recognized and heralded as a self-correcting self-elevation path up the 'highest mountain' of personal self mastery... but this is like saying that breakthrough free energy technology does not exist when in fact it has been suppressed for a hundred years also.

Progressive revelation is challenging for
 status quo orthodoxy of special interests
who have a vested interest in no change
  from paradigm paralysis known as "DUH”
 (Dense, Unconscious and Heartless).

Just as free energy technology is suppressed to block liberation of abundant energy independence PHYSICALLY... so is progressive revelation reality suppressed to block liberation of abundant energy independence SPIRITUALLY.

SPIRITUALLY... the seven great world religions are like the seven rays of full spectrum light, but if those seven rays don't unite for full-spectrum Conscience that shines bright with the first principle of 'God is Love' and is for giving... then they are like the 'Seven Hats of Full Spectrum Conscience' that are worn separately.

Albert the 'Einstein' said it well:
Matter is Energy. Energy is Light.
We are all Light Beings.

The Ascended Masters teach that the light that lights every soul that comes into this world is unique for each incarnation into this dense octave of physical embodiment.
 
Souls come in with 'flying colors' on different wavelengths of light -- different 'hats' – but orthodoxy in ‘higher education’ does not recognize individuality as ‘higher consciousness’ on the seven rays of mastery. Few souls have mastered all wavelengths to be truly 'enlightened' with full-spectrum light of a bright nature.

Most of us have experienced brilliant clarity, many times, on whatever band of full-spectrum Conscience that defines one's prevailing awareness.

The Ascended Master Teachings focus on 'dharma' -- one's divine plan -- as a way of balancing 'karma', the habit of forgetting as in 'for getting' (service to self) rather than the first principle of 'for giving' (service to others).

That's not rocket science for the soul.
The upward-mobile spirit at the
heart of ascension is all ways
for giving... not for getting.

The gift of the holy spirit of LOVE -in-action is at the heart of all the other gifts of the holy spirit on the Seven Rays of the '7 Hat Spectrum'. The Ascended Master Teachings have a vast body of work on the 'Seven Rays of the Human Aura' as correspond to multi-dimensional “hats” (energies) ’worn’ by cosmic beings ranging from the Seven Archangels, the different Ascended Masters on the Seven Rays, the Seven Elohim Heirarchs, the Seven Members of the Great Karmic Board... that ALL are represented as part of the
                                            Great White Light Alliance.

The Full Spectrum Conscience of the

As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be.
