Montana has been called, "The Last Best Place" for many reasons,
ranging from it's pure mountain headwaters, pristine air, the
Yellowstone ecosystem, and its staunch support of freedom: the
Constitution, State rights and individual sovereignty.
Core sovereignty rights are under siege nationwide, but the fed
raids in Montana -- article following -- is a good case in point.
These turf wars of the Empire' have consequences - a siege mentality. It makes people think, "Where is the honor of
Federal Government if they don't honor our core Constitutional
freedoms?"
This is a wake up call folks.
Mark my words, 2011 will see the testing of freedom, honor, and
the survival of civility as no other time in the Republic.
What we've just witnessed in Japan is to prepare you for such a
cataclysmic eventuality here, in America, in 2011.
Get ready! One way or another, our system of self-governance
is going to reboot.
Remember that the best government is
self-government so steel yourself for what may be a severe testing
of self-governance - the constitution of
Conscience.
Those who don't honor the Constitution are the real outlaws.
"All laws which are repugnant to the Constitution are null and
void."

Chief Justice Marshall, Marbury v. Madison

whether government will be over people or
"of, by and for the people".

1-
THE POLITICS:
A
medical marijuana law was approved by Montana voters in 2004.
Montana
is one of 9 other states which have declared by law that marijuana
in fact has medical value and is lawful to use as such. Since 2004,
medical marijuana has become a burgeoning industry with people
moving back to Montana after having left to treat medical conditions
with cannabis in other states where medical marijuana is legal.
The timing of the raids was suspicious. Montana's
legislature had decided the previous day not to repeal the
law, but rather choosing to reform the law to tighten regulation of
the industry. This major story was largely blacked out nationally
with news dominated by the massive Japan earthquake, tsunami and
meltdown of nuclear reactors. As with the terror following 9-11,
war-on-drugs policy was orchestrated while people were in a fear
consciousness, out of range of a prevailing fearless
Conscience
--
core Constitutional freedoms
at heart
-- whereby no soul can be easily manipulated to surrender its innate
sovereignty to inordinate fear-bound force.
Coincidence or political? Covertly, federal agents had been
conducting an 18 month investigation, having intent and motive.
Seizure warrants for financial institutions in Bozeman, Helena and
Kalispell totaling up to $4 million were executed. [ref. below]
Since the mainstream media is heavily vested in drug commercials for
profit, and is reluctant to bite the hand that feeds it, we rarely
hear about monopoly medicine's suppression of health freedoms as
would provide natural, non-toxic and inexpensive alternatives to
toxic, synthetic and mutagenic drugs.
State rights challenging Federal control? Since the raids,
the Montana legislature has refused $35 million in federal funding
for computerizing private medical records with Fed-Gov "access"
(surveillance) - a central agenda of 'ObamaCare'. Montana is the
only State in the nation to refuse federal funds for this purpose.
MT State Representative Don Roberts (R-Billings) said, "We're
going to have to pay it back. They say no strings attached, (but)
there are strings attached. The deeper we get in debt, the more
difficult it is to get out of debt.... but we shouldn't enhance, or
help, or aid and abet bad federal policy." Roberts says
this money operates like stimulus funding - once clinics accept the
money, they will be forced to sustain the programs, and he doesn't
want them turning back to the government for that help.
For more on the politics, read the excellent March 15th
article by attorney Timothy Baldwin at: 'The
Bureaucracies That Marijuana Feeds'.
Timothy is the son of renown Montana spiritual activist Chuck
Baldwin.
2- THE SCIENCE:
See the excellent Montana PBS
documentary video which aired Feb. 28, 2011:
'Clearing
the Smoke: The Science of Cannabis'
http://watch.montanapbs.org/video/1825223761/
Clearing the Smoke reveals how cannabis acts on the brain
and in the body to treat illness.
If you watch this video, you will see the true story of medical
marijuana in Montana from not just a scientific perspective -- an
abundance of scientific and empirical evidence -- but also, the
national economics and politics behind demonizing and criminalizing
cannabis for the profit of "legal drug pushers" (Big Pharma), who
can't patent and own the rights to this natural 'weed' which anyone
could grow in their house or back yard.
The 'Science of Cannabis' makes it very clear that this herb is
superior for treating a vast variety of severe medical conditions,
including cancer. Obviously, the legalization of cannabis would
eliminate billions of dollars in Big Pharma profits.
This very professional video indeed clears the smoke of fear and
ignorance, but leaves one with the realization that the corrupt
collusion of federal government with Big Pharma is more interested
in their power and profit than the health and well-being of the
public.
Unfortunately, deeply entrenched fundamentalist "BS" (Belief
Systems) -- ranging from orthodox to New Age religions -- believe
religiously that "reefer madness' is the devil's agenda. Their fear
and ignorance fuels division between faithful 'BS' and medical
science.
Thousands of individuals languish in federal prisons for having a
few joints of cannabis in their possession, while at the same time,
this video shows that other individuals receive cannabis for free
under federal programs subsidized by our tax dollars.
With public funding for PBS under political/economic attack, video's
like 'The
Science of Cannabis' may become cannon fodder, so watch it
while you still can.
3- THE NEWS
You
may agree that 'politicized science' is an oxymoron, but truth in
the news media is largely politicized by economics of the
medical-industrial complex which rivals the military industrial
complex. See: "Disease
Profiteering in America". We rarely get news of this because
the giant news conglomerates in America receive massive profit from
drug commercials for whatever ails you. Political correctness thus
translates to reliance on 'bad science' for 'good business' with 'no
news' of the corrupt system of Fed/Pharma collusion for what it
is... a drug-based, disease-profiteering monopoly on medicine in
collusion with a government protection racket which is antagonistic
to natural inexpensive healing modalities to the point of
criminalizing them and suppressing core Constitutional rights to
govern your own health care.
Medical Marijuana Dispensaries Raided in Montana
http://hightimes.com/news/mmiller/7017

The Ides of March was indeed portentous for medical marijuana in
Montana as on Tuesday, March 15 the federal government executed 26
search warrants at various medical marijuana dispensaries and grow
sites (encompassing seven businesses), along with four civil seizure
warrants (in which the Feds confiscated some four million dollars
from banks in three Montana cities). The raids were conducted as
part of an 18-month investigation that targeted both legal
dispensaries and cultivating caregivers in 13 cities across the Big
Sky state.
Though assisted by state law enforcement, it was a veritable Whos
Who of federal government agencies participating in the Montana
raids with the Drug Enforcement Administration, Immigration and
Customs Enforcement, Internal Revenue Service, the Bureau of
Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and the Federal Bureau of
Investigation all in tow.
As seems to be de rigueur when it comes to medi-pot raids by
the Feds, no charges or indictments were filed against those
identified in the search warrants, and no arrests were made yet. The
U.S. Attorney has alleged probable cause for several federal
violations, including conspiracy to manufacture, distribute and
possess marijuana, with conspiracy, tax evasion and drug-trafficking
charges to be potentially levied against certain individuals.
The raids surprised many medical marijuana activists across the
nation, who had grown somewhat comfortable perhaps too comfortable
with President Obamas relaxed policies towards medi-pot dispensaries
and cultivators. Montana legalized medical marijuana in 2004 and the
number of pot patients there has soared to over 28,000 in 2011 from
under 4,000 in September 2009, just prior to U.S. Deputy Attorney
General David Ogden issuing an October 2009 memo advising U.S.
attorneys to back off medical marijuana providers and patients
complying with state law. And that is the essential conflict
being played out in Montana in 2011 caregivers and patients in
compliance with state law, but violating the federal Controlled
Substances Act, which refuses to categorize or recognize marijuana
as medicine. [emphasis added]
4- WHO PROFITS?
See 'The
Bureaucracies That Marijuana Feeds'
If
you read that March 15th article by attorney Timothy Baldwin, you'll
find that the mass raids which took place in Montana were conducted
by dozens of federal, state and local law enforcement agencies. The
raids were led by Feds with local Sheriffs for support.
Were those Montana Sheriffs upholding State laws? Did the Feds and
Sheriffs agree to split the millions of dollars in bank accounts and
assets seized in the raids? Or did the feds simply over-rule State
law and Constitutional law for their gain only?
5- PREPARE THY SELF
Common sense may be uncommon -- turned on its head -- with a pound
of drug-based treatment now worth 16 times an ounce of prevention...
and so it is with common law of a Constitutional nature. Love of
the Constitution is, at heart, the virtue of public service to
public interests, not the special interests which have powerful
vested interests in keeping power to own one's own health FROM the
people rather than 'of, by and for the people'.
Self-serving federal bureaucracies in collusion with self-serving
Big Pharma interests may have big money and big power behind them,
but without the moral imperative of
core Constitutional freedoms, they are like Hillary Clinton who
recently said that only barbaric regimes use violence against
peaceful protesters and activists. Or against legitimate state
governments like Montana.
Be
prepared spiritually above all. The poor in spirit may soon be
among us in droves, and spiritual leaders will be those who embody
compassion-in-action. Remember that one-in-God -- the holy spirit
of Love-in-action -- is a majority.
Be prepared mentally also. Put yourself in the situation that many
Japanese are in, and ask yourself: "Do I have at least a basic
survival pack in my car trunk? Do I have a well-stocked pantry? Do
I have a safe place to go to? Will I have food, water and shelter?"
Prepare yourself emotionally. Keep your head while others are
losing theirs. As a general rule, the more emotional one gets, the
more unreasonable; it's a razor's edge to maintain intense feelings
with reasoned compassion. Keep centered like the eye of calm at the
center of the hurricane. If you get off-center, the emotional swirl
of fear can spin you into doubt of your own mental and spiritual
capabilities.
The coming test of thought, feeling and spirituality is ultimately
practicality. So be prepared physically. Build your immune systems
and stick to your guns -- your core Constitutional
(divine-sovereign) rights. There are many
Americans who don't have the grace and caring we see in Japan, and
there are obviously corrupt government officials who don't honor the
Constitution. Be harmless as doves and wise to "serpents"
(fork-tongued, two-faced wolves in 'official' clothing).
